LongITools is a prominent brand that is part of the European Human Exposome Network (EHEN), the world’s largest cluster of research projects focused on studying the exposome. As a member of EHEN, LongITools is at the forefront of exploring the impact of environmental exposures on human health. This extensive network, comprised of nine research projects receiving over €100 million from Horizon 2020, aims to better understand the health effects caused by various factors such as pollution, chemicals, and lifestyle choices.

LongITools plays a crucial role in EHEN by leading the coordination of the network from July 2022 to September 2023. Their team actively participates in EHEN's working groups on metadata, communication and dissemination, and ethics and law. They contribute to organizing events and delivering reports alongside other EHEN projects.

Notably, LongITools and the EXIMIOUS project have recently organized a conference and updated the EHEN Communication and Dissemination Strategy. EHEN projects, including LongITools, are also developing a range of tools, guidelines, and protocols to aid researchers, policymakers, and citizen scientists in comprehending the impact of the exposome on human health. These tools are accessible through the Exposome Toolbox, a centralized hub for ongoing development.
