Longleaf Hill

Longleaf Hill Plantation is a quail hunting destination in the Red Hills Region of South Georgia, just outside Cairo. Established in 2010, the plantation grew from a conservation-focused effort to protect native longleaf pine and wiregrass habitat. Today, its more than 1,200 acres are carefully managed to support bobwhite quail and provide an authentic sporting experience grounded in Southern tradition and hospitality.

The plantation offers guided quail hunts led by experienced professionals, with bird dogs and jeep transportation across open pinewoods and rolling fields. Full-day experiences include a guide, dogs, transportation, unlimited birds, meals, an overnight stay, and a round of trap or skeet shooting. Half-day hunts include lunch alongside the guided hunt, dogs, transportation, and unlimited birds. Guests can also enjoy clay target shooting and event facilities.

Completed in 2020, the 7,000-square-foot lodge accommodates up to nine guests. Its amenities include private double-occupancy bedrooms, a sitting area, game room, stocked bar, porch, and fire pit, offering a comfortable retreat after time in the field.
