— Longmont Latinx Voices

Longmont Latinx Voices (LLV) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2019 to expand opportunities for Latinx youth and families in the St. Vrain Valley School District. Guided by the belief that knowledge and opportunity can help young people thrive, LLV works to increase access to education, extracurricular activities, and civic participation.

The organization awards education scholarships and activities scholarships, helping students pursue learning and interests that may otherwise be financially out of reach. Activities funding can support options such as sports, dance, music, theatre, horseback riding, and tutoring. LLV’s activities scholarships are available to students within Longmont city limits. Its work is supported through cultural community fundraisers, events, and donations, which help fund scholarships and bring people together.

LLV also creates opportunities for lasting community connection through gatherings, celebrations, and fundraising events. The organization reports having impacted more than 315 lives, awarding 35 educational scholarships and more than 250 activities scholarships.
