Longneck Manor is an AZA-accredited, nonprofit wildlife conservation destination on 102 acres in Fredericksburg, Texas. Founded by Rick Barongi, former director of the Houston Zoo, it combines wildlife encounters, education, and hospitality to inspire conservation. The park is home to nine reticulated giraffes and three southern white rhinoceroses, with animal care specialists guiding visitors through small-group experiences. Daily 75-minute tours offer opportunities to feed giraffes, meet a rhino up close, and explore animal care spaces; tours are limited to 14 guests.
Visitors can stay in the Giraffe Suite, located inside the giraffe barn, or choose from four private villas overlooking the wildlife pastures. Accommodations offer views of the animals and, for overnight guests, private encounters with an animal care specialist. Experiences may include giraffe painting, rhino skin prints, and time with Bruno the sloth. Longneck Manor also provides conservation and educational programs. Visits support its Conservation Foundation, which funds organizations working to protect giraffes, rhinos, endangered wildlife, and their habitats.
