Loopgroep Houten

Loopgroep Houten is a running club for people who want to improve their running technique, train toward a goal, or enjoy running with others. The club offers training under the guidance of experienced trainers and welcomes runners preparing for distances such as 10 kilometres and the half marathon. Its focus combines structured, guided training with the social and motivating experience of exercising as a group.

Loopgroep Houten also organizes the Run2Day Vlinderloop, a performance running event held nine times a year. The event takes place on the second Saturday of each month from September through May, with the next edition scheduled for 14 November 2026. Runners can find event information and register online, as well as consult results, records and photographs. The club’s website provides details about its training sessions, trainers, membership and fees, events, history, and 2026 schedule. Whether joining regular training or taking part in the Vlinderloop, participants can connect with a local running community in Houten.
