The Lorain County Ohio Horseman’s Council (OHC) is a local organization for people who enjoy horses and want to connect with others in the equine community. Its chapter welcomes riders and horse owners interested in trail riding, camping with their horses, family activities, and socializing with fellow horse lovers. Members can take part in organized rides, including visits to new locations, and use the chapter’s calendar to follow upcoming events and monthly meetings.
The organization provides practical information for local horse enthusiasts through trail details and maps, guidelines and forms, news, a photo gallery, and a member-focused newsletter called The Corral. It also offers individual, youth, family, secondary, and associate membership options, with basic and Plus plans; Plus membership includes Equine Excess Liability Insurance. People who already belong to OHC in another county can apply for secondary membership in Lorain County. Membership applications and renewals are available online or by paper form, and the chapter holds regular meetings at the Carlisle Visitor Center in LaGrange, Ohio.
