Lord Howe Island Nature Tours offers guided experiences that help visitors discover the ecology, wildlife and heritage of World Heritage-listed Lord Howe Island, in the Tasman Sea northeast of Sydney. Tours are led by naturalist Ian Hutton, who has lived and studied on the island for more than four decades and has worked with universities, museums and filmmakers. He shares his knowledge of the island’s flora, fauna, geology, history and conservation, helping guests observe and understand its distinctive natural environment.

The range includes multi-day tours, day trips, bushwalking, birdwatching, nature walks and low-tide reef walks. Visitors can also explore options focused on wildlife, birds and marine life, join lectures, or arrange a private tour tailored to their interests, fitness level and available time. The business also offers Bush Regeneration, EcoTour and Birdweek experiences. With much of the island protected in a Permanent Park Preserve and marine park, the tours provide opportunities to learn about its ecological diversity and conservation. Booking enquiries are available for general and private tours.
