The Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation (LDCRF), based in Arlington, VA, is dedicated to finding loving homes for homeless pets through comprehensive rescue and adoption services. Since its inception in 2001, LDCRF has successfully saved over 45,000 animals, making a significant impact in the community. The organization offers same-day adoptions and provides a unique two-week trial period for pet adopters to ensure a perfect match.
In addition to facilitating adoptions, the foundation hosts various events, such as charitable runs and adoption fairs at local PetSmart stores, fostering community engagement and raising awareness for animal welfare. LDCRF also provides volunteering opportunities where individuals can assist with both dogs and cats, as well as resources for rehoming pets. By supporting LDCRF through donations or participation in events, pet lovers can help continue the mission of giving these animals a second chance at a happy life in a forever home.
