Lost Pines Yaupon Tea is artisanally crafted in small batches from pristine wild growing yaupon holly, the only caffeinated plant native to the U.S. We forage in areas where removing yaupon helps restore forest balance and creates habitat for critters like the endangered Houston Toad. Healthy and delicious iced or hot.

Lost Pines Yaupon Tea is a brand based in Austin, Texas that offers an exceptional selection of yaupon tea products. Founded in 2015 by three close friends, Jason Ellis, Heidi Wachter, and John Seibold, Lost Pines Yaupon was born out of a deep fascination for the yaupon holly plant. Native Americans have long utilized the energizing properties of yaupon leaves, and Jason's years of experimentation led to the development of the methods currently utilized to create their outstanding yaupon tea.
Lost Pines Yaupon is committed to the art of tea-making, constantly refining their process to deliver the finest quality products. Situated near the magnificent Lost Pines Forest, an ancient and distinctive pine forest, the brand takes pride in its social and environmental consciousness. By thinning the yaupon growth, they enable habitat restoration for the endangered Houston Toad and support the regrowth of the pine forest.
With a focus on sustainability and customer satisfaction, Lost Pines Yaupon Tea aims to provide a flavorsome and eco-friendly caffeinated beverage.
