Lotte Mart is a South Korean discount-store retailer whose vision is to become the “No.1 Grocery Market.” Founded in Seoul on April 1, 1998, the company grew from a Lotte business division into an independently managed operation and expanded through acquisitions and international growth. As of 2023, it operated 175 stores worldwide, including 111 in South Korea and 64 overseas.

The retailer combines everyday grocery shopping with specialized stores and food experiences. Its ZETTAPLEX concept brings together a range of category-focused outlets, including Bottlebunker for wine, Room by Home Lab for living products, LOHB’S Plus for health and beauty, and Colioli for pet products. Bottlebunker offers wines organized by country, tailored recommendations, tastings of around 80 varieties, and a mobile app.

Lotte Mart’s Grand Grocery concept devotes most of its floor space to food, with bakery, prepared dishes, sushi, grill items, smart-farm produce, eco-friendly products, dry-aged meat, and imported goods.
