Lotus Behavioral Health

Lotus Behavioral Health is a not-for-profit adolescent treatment center in Winter Springs, Florida, serving teens ages 12 to 17 who face substance use, mental health challenges, or both. Its family-centered approach combines clinical expertise with individualized care, aiming to address underlying causes of high-risk behaviors and support lasting recovery. The center offers a continuum of services, including residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient care.

Residential programs typically run 30 to 90 days and include a virtual classroom to help teens keep up with school responsibilities. Care may involve substance use and mental health assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, medication evaluation and management, relapse prevention, aftercare, and care coordination. Therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and, where appropriate, EMDR.

Lotus also provides support for co-occurring disorders, peer connection, and family participation throughout treatment. Bilingual staff support Spanish-speaking families, and family therapy is available in Spanish, while clinical programs are delivered in English
