Loukoumi

Loukoumi is a children’s book and educational initiative built around kindness, positive action, and helping young people make a difference. Its nine-book series introduces lessons about doing good deeds, preventing bullying, caring for the environment, and pursuing career dreams. The books are also available as audiobooks narrated by well-known performers, including Jennifer Aniston, Olympia Dukakis, Morgan Freeman, Nia Vardalos, and Bob Costas.

The Loukoumi Make A Difference Foundation extends these themes through programs that bring children together to support causes they care about. The nonprofit says it connects more than 150,000 children in 30 countries and works with over 300 schools worldwide. Its Good Deed Curriculum includes monthly Zoom sessions, where students from different cities collaborate on projects intended to benefit others. Loukoumi also publishes books featuring young people’s experiences, including Inspiring Stories That Make a Difference 2, with essays from children in 30 countries describing how they contribute to their communities and the wider world.
