L’Oulibo, c’est avant tout des hommes liés d’une même passion, un terroir plein de richesses, des traditions soigneusement préservées et un savoir-faire transmis de générations en générations. Les hommes sont au cœur de la coopération. Créée en 1942, la Coopérative l’Oulibo est actuellement la seule Coopérative oléicole du département de l’Aude. Après le gel de 1956 qui a décimé l’oléiculture française, l’Oulibo a continué à perpétuer la culture de l’olivier dans l’Aude. Avec près de 1000 adhérents, la coopérative l’Oulibo reçoit les olives de trois départements : l’Aude, l’Hérault et les Pyrénées-Orientales, ce qui certifie des produits 100% régionaux. En tant que coopérative, l’Oulibo s’engage à appliquer une charte qualitative très précise : faire des produits de qualité, assurer une bonne rémunération de ses adhérents, appliquer une politique d’investissement pour faire de l‘Oulibo une coopérative performante et un outil de travail adapté aux normes agroalimentaires actuelles, pratiquer une agriculture raisonnée, assurer le développement et la pérennité de l’oléiculture en Occitanie.
