Love & Hisses

Love & Hisses is a passionate cat rescue initiative led by Robyn Anderson in Huntsville, Alabama, dedicated to fostering cats and promoting adoption through their partnership with Forgotten Felines of Huntsville. Operating as a no-kill shelter, Love & Hisses takes in abandoned and homeless cats, providing them with a nurturing environment until they find forever homes. Robyn's extensive experience in fostering, which began in 2005, allows her to create a welcoming space for the cats, capturing their personalities through countless photographs shared on her blog.

With an emphasis on animal welfare, Love & Hisses prioritizes the health and comfort of its feline guests, giving them the freedom to explore their home once they're deemed healthy. Robyn's home, currently known as Crooked Acre, plays host to a varying number of permanent resident cats, as well as temporary fosters. Through their commitment to raising awareness and facilitating adoptions, Love & Hisses continues to make a significant impact on the local community's cat population.
