Love in Leche is a breastfeeding support service led by Teresa Munguia, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Its goal is to help parents navigate breastfeeding with compassionate, individualized guidance and practical resources for building a strong connection with their baby. Teresa offers home, virtual, and prenatal consultations, tailoring each visit to the family’s needs.
Home visits may include reviewing health and birth history, assessing the parent’s breasts and baby’s oral anatomy, weighing the baby before and after a feed, providing hands-on support, and creating a personalized feeding plan. Virtual consultations are available for topics such as pumping and returning to work, while prenatal visits help families prepare for hospital experiences, newborn care, positioning, and latch. Support is available for latch difficulties, breast or nipple soreness, low milk supply, slow weight gain, bottle refusal, and plugged ducts or mastitis.
Follow-up visits review and update care plans, and reports can be shared with a pediatrician or physician when needed
