Lovely Rolling Pin is a Chicago-born baking brand created by pastry chefs Bob and Gina Hartwig in 2010. After finding that standard rolling pins did not provide the size and precision they wanted, the couple designed an extra-wide pin for home and professional baking tasks. The brand’s signature rolling pins are 24 inches long and feature slight edge indentations that help roll dough to an even thickness.
Customers can choose options that produce dough measuring 1/8, 1/4, or 3/8 inch thick. An 18-inch rolling surface makes the pins useful for preparing thin-crust pizza, cookies, pie and tart crusts, and other large batches of dough. Their one-piece construction is designed for straightforward cleaning, while a smooth wax finish helps keep dough on the work surface rather than sticking to the pin.
Lovely Rolling Pin presents its products as suitable for adults and children, and offers online ordering, guidance on using the pins, customer reviews, and a gallery. The website also invites visitors to join for a free cookie and recipe book
