Loving Power

Loving Power Ltd. is a Hong Kong nonprofit charity established in 1997 and registered under charity licence number 91/4830. Founded by volunteers from different sectors, the organisation works to support disadvantaged communities and promote mutual care and social solidarity. Its focus includes grassroots families, young people, women, older adults and other people in need, with community services, charitable projects and cultural and educational initiatives delivered without religious or political affiliation.

Since its founding, Loving Power has supported the construction of more than seven schools in mainland China, as well as a local health clinic, to improve access to education and medical assistance. Since 2011, it has partnered with Jinan University in Guangzhou to provide annual scholarships for 30 academically strong students from low-income backgrounds. In Hong Kong, the charity works with social service and care organisations to support older people and vulnerable residents. Its activities have included distributing festive food and pandemic supplies, and organising workshops, singing competitions and youth programmes intended to help young people and women develop their strengths and pursue opportunities.
