Lowcountry Lovebirds is a white dove release company serving Savannah, Georgia, and surrounding communities. Led by Tina Harris, known as the “Bird-Dove Lady,” the business has more than 18 years of experience creating memorable moments with trained birds at weddings, funerals, memorials, baby gender reveals, celebrations, and other events. Its releases offer a symbolic way to mark occasions with themes of love, peace, remembrance, and new beginnings.
The company offers wedding packages ranging from a pair of doves with additional birds to larger flock releases, as well as funeral and memorial options designed to honor loved ones. For baby gender reveals, a colored dove is released with three white doves. Lowcountry Lovebirds also participates in charity and local events. The birds are white rock doves, also known as homing pigeons, raised and trained to return home after release. The company explains that these birds are suited to outdoor releases, unlike pet-store ringneck doves, which lack homing ability.
