Little People of America, Inc. (LPA) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals of short stature and their families. Founded in 1957 by the actor Billy Barty, LPA has grown to over 7,500 members across the United States and internationally, united in their diverse experiences with dwarfism, which encompasses more than 300 medical conditions.
