LPEA, short for La Plata Electric Association, is a member-owned electric distribution cooperative focused on serving the communities of La Plata and Archuleta, along with parts of Hinsdale, Mineral, and San Juan counties. As the fifth largest cooperative in Colorado, LPEA prioritizes delivering safe and reliable electricity to over 34,200 members and powering more than 46,500 meters.
