Founded in 2000, LPMA Recordings is a creative studio run by composer Leo Anemaet and filmmaker Mari Soppela. Based in Amsterdam, they produce music, sound composition and cross-media design. LPMA Productions is their Finnish film branch, founded in 2006 in Northern Finland, which develops and produces creative documentaries. LPMA's recent successes include the cinema distribution of 'It's Raining Women' in The Netherlands, airing 'Le plafond de verre' and 'Die Gläserne Decke' on Arte, and the music score of the documentary TV series 'Het beloofde land' on BNN/Vara.

About LPMA Productions & Recordings
Mari Soppela is an independent film company founded in Finland in 2006 by Finnish filmmaker Mari Soppela and Dutch composer Leo Anemaet. Specializing in creative documentaries, they have produced feature-length films such as Home Recordings, Who the Devil Can See in the Dark, Mother Land, and It's Raining Women, all directed by Soppela. Their recent successes include the distribution of It's Raining Women in cinemas in The Netherlands, as well as its airing on Arte Germany and Arte France.
Alongside their film production, Mari Soppela also operates LPMA Recordings, a music and sound studio based in Amsterdam. Leo Anemaet, a Rotterdam-born composer and sound designer, brings his expertise to the studio, having composed music and designed sound for over 100 installations, animations, films, television shows, and theatre productions. Mari Soppela and LPMA enjoy exploring the connection between art and life, firmly believing that art can effectively capture the essence of the human experience.
