About Lake Region Conference of Seventh-day Adventists
LRC SDA, also known as the Lake Region Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, has been dedicated to spreading the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ since its establishment in 1944. Their main mission is to lead people, particularly African Americans in the Lake Union Conference territory, to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through the preaching of the three angels’ messages. With more than 29,000 Adventist members worshiping in 107 churches across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, LRC SDA has made a significant impact on the community.
They have also established eight elementary and high schools and employ approximately 200 pastors, teachers, and staff members. Camp Wagner, a campground and retreat facility in Cassopolis, MI, serves as a gathering place for various adult and youth meetings throughout the year. LRC SDA looks to the future with renewed purpose and dedication, committed to winning the lost for Christ and continuing their growth as part of the fastest-growing Christian church in the world, the Seventh-day Adventist denomination
