The Association of Accountants of the Republic of Latvia (Latvijas Republikas Grāmatvežu asociācija, LRGA) as professional association of accountants was founded in 1994. Currently the association unites more than 700 members, including certified professional accountants, accountants working in public practice, tax consultants, teaching staff of higher educational institutions, specialists in finance, external and internal auditors, accounting outsourcing firms and higher educational institutions and schools.

About LRGA
LRGA is the oldest accounting organization in Latvia, bringing together over 700 members including professional accountants, accounting service providers, universities, and educational institutions. LRGA's main goal is to protect the professional interests of its members and promote the development of their creative and practical skills. They offer a certification program for professional accountants, which is globally recognized and meets the requirements of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and the Accountancy Europe.
LRGA also provides a range of online webinars to keep members abreast of the latest developments in the field. In addition, they collaborate with ACCA and offer special discounts for LRGA members.
