LRWRA

Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority (LRWRA) is a public utility serving the Little Rock community in Arkansas. Its mission is to protect public health and the environment by collecting and treating wastewater and reclaiming water for a more sustainable future. LRWRA operates wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure, including sewers, pump stations, and pressurized pipes, and provides information about its treatment process and environmental impact.

The authority offers essential wastewater services alongside customer and community resources. Residents can find rates and billing guidance, locate sewer lines, review sanitary sewer easements, and access information about sewer service line replacement and residential programs such as Can the Grease and Cap the Cleanout. LRWRA also provides industrial pretreatment and regulatory compliance resources, permits, rain gauge data, and emergency support.

Through tours, educational materials, outreach programs, and its JoJo the Water Hero learning experience, LRWRA helps families understand water reclamation. Its public meetings, reports, and Beneath the Surface podcast share updates about projects and the people behind its work.
