Lsdfc (Lagos State DNA & Forensic Center) is a state-of-the-art Crime Laboratory established in 2017 by the Lagos State Government. Its mission is to enhance public safety by assisting law enforcement and the judiciary in conducting criminal and civil investigations. As the first dedicated crime laboratory in Nigeria established by a state government, Lsdfc is specifically designed to support law enforcement and criminal investigations, making Lagos State a safe place to live, work, visit, and play.

Under the supervision of the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, Lsdfc offers a range of services, including forensic serology, relationship DNA analysis, crime scene processing, and DNA collection centers. It is also accredited under ISO 17025:2017, ensuring the highest levels of quality standards in forensic DNA analysis, evidence handling, statistical analysis, and secure evidence storage.
