Life Skills Center

Life Skills Development Intervention Center, Inc. (LSDICI) is a special education and intervention center in Legazpi City, Philippines, serving children and adolescents with special needs and their families. Created through a collaboration between special education teachers and information technology experts, the center addresses limited educational options in the region by combining dedicated instruction, technology, and supportive facilities. Its guiding principles are commitment, excellence, and assistive technology, with a mission to help children develop their abilities and foster a more inclusive, compassionate community.

LSDICI offers one-to-one Behavior Management to support communication, motor development, and productive behavior at home and school. Its Modified Academics Program adapts learning goals, instruction, and assessment to students’ strengths and needs, with support in subjects such as mathematics, reading, writing, and Filipino. The center also provides parent support and caregiver workshops focused on behavior management and children’s development at home. For adolescents, Life Skills Training builds practical academic, pre-vocational, and community-living skills to encourage greater independence. LSDICI also lists an Occupational Transition Program among its services.
