LSFSC

The Lake Superior Figure Skating Club (LSFSC), established in 1978, is a cornerstone of the local community dedicated to fostering skater development for all ages. The club offers a diverse range of programs, including Parent & Tot, CanSkate, CanPowerSkate, Adult Skate, and STARSkate, tailored to meet the needs of novice to elite competitors. Led by certified Skate Canada coaches, each program emphasizes skill development, camaraderie, and spirited competition, while instilling values of responsibility and respect among participants.

LSFSC also hosts summer camps, providing continued training opportunities in freestyle, dance, and off-ice conditioning, ensuring athletes can train year-round. The club promotes active community engagement through events like the Ghoul-a-thon, Christmas Gala, and annual banquets, fostering strong relationships between athletes, parents, and coaches. With a focus on leadership development, skaters are encouraged to take on Program Assistant roles and pursue coaching qualifications, enriching their experience and contributing to the club's vibrant culture. Join LSFSC to be a part of a thriving figure skating community!
