Founded in 1935, the Air-Club d’Yverdon-les-Bains operates the Yverdon aerodrome in Switzerland and welcomes pilots, passengers, aviation enthusiasts, and visitors. The site has an 870-metre paved runway and a 725-metre grass runway, along with hangar facilities and a modern refuelling station offering AVGAS 100LL, UL91, and kerosene. Its activities include a flight school, powered-flight and gliding groups, an aerobatics group, and a parachuting club.
The club also provides information about pilot training, qualifications, aerodrome access, operating procedures, and fees. Visitors can enjoy the on-site restaurant and terrace, while pilots can consult practical resources such as weather information and aerodrome guidance. The club’s setting combines aviation facilities with a welcoming place for the local community and people interested in flying.
Hangar spaces are currently unavailable, though prospective users may contact the secretariat to join the waiting list. Through its varied aviation activities and shared facilities, the Air-Club supports recreational flying and offers a point of welcome for the broader aviation community
