Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio, also known as the LSS Network of Hope, is a nonprofit organization working to create a better world by serving people in need. Across 21 Ohio counties, its programs address urgent challenges including homelessness, hunger, domestic violence, affordable housing and community health. LSS Faith Mission provides shelter for adult men, women and veterans in Columbus, while its Fairfield County program offers services to people experiencing homelessness in Lancaster.
LSS CHOICES operates Franklin County’s only domestic violence emergency shelter, offering a safe refuge for survivors and their children. The organization also runs food pantries, connects residents with social, health and government resources through LSS 211 Central Ohio, and provides accessible health care regardless of income or insurance status. Its affordable housing program offers apartments for seniors at 21 sites across Ohio.
