Lake State Hockey

Lake Superior State University Athletics is the official home of the LSSU Lakers, sharing information and resources for the university’s intercollegiate sports programs. The athletics department features hockey, basketball, cross country, swimming and diving, track and field, and volleyball, with teams competing across NCAA Division I and Division II. Its website helps fans, student-athletes, and prospective recruits follow schedules, rosters, news, results, and athlete features, as well as connect with teams through social media.

The site also provides ways to engage with Laker athletics beyond competition. Visitors can find ticket and merchandise options, the Kids Club, gameday experiences, events, and information about venues including Taffy Abel Arena and Ronald “Bud” Cooper Gymnasium. Supporters can learn about giving through the Laker Club and The Be Superior NIL Fund, while student-athletes and families can access recruiting guidance, NCAA eligibility resources, compliance information, and academic links. Additional offerings include live and broadcast coverage details, radio information, a podcast, photo galleries, and an athletics staff directory.
