LSV Invictus is a running and walking club serving Ooststellingwerf, welcoming people of all ages, experience levels, and fitness goals. Its community combines enjoyment, effective training, and personal development in a supportive group setting. Members can choose from structured running groups for beginners, recreational runners, young people, and performance-focused athletes.
Training may include stretching, running technique, endurance work, intervals, and speed development. Beginners can follow a programme from zero to three kilometres and receive practical guidance on running posture, clothing, footwear, food, and hydration. The club also offers relaxed Wednesday morning sessions, outdoor Full Body Fit workouts that combine running, intervals, and bodyweight exercises, and group walks focused on fitness and enjoying nature.
Whether someone is taking their first steps, preparing for a race, or simply looking for a sociable way to stay active, Invictus provides options for a range of abilities. The club also promotes events, including an New Year’s Eve run and a winter walking tour
