LTRC Early Childhood Center is a small early childhood program operated by the Lutherville-Timonium Recreation Council and located at Pinewood Elementary School in Timonium, Maryland. Serving families for more than 40 years, it is licensed by the Maryland State Department of Education’s Office of Child Care. The center supports children’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development through age-appropriate structured play and guided instruction, helping them build early learning skills for the transition to kindergarten.

The center offers a three-year-old class on Tuesdays and Thursdays and a four-year-old class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Morning sessions run from 9 a.m. to noon. Families may also choose an extended-day Lunch Bunch from noon to 2:30 p.m. on eligible class days; this option includes lunch and rest time. The program accepts applications for the 2026–2027 school year and provides information about admissions, curricula, tuition, and family resources. Families have praised its play-based instruction, welcoming community, special activities, and field trips.
