Lubart is the 20th Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, serving within the Azov Corps. Formed by volunteers in February 2022, the unit developed from a territorial defence formation into a special operations detachment, then an Azov battalion, and ultimately a brigade. Its personnel have served in the liberation of Kyiv region and in battles around Bakhmut, Neskuchne and Velyka Novosilka, as well as operations in the Serebriansky Forest and in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. The brigade now carries out combat missions on the Toretsk axis.

Lubart offers military roles across combat, support, medical and unmanned-systems specialties. Its recruitment process includes an initial conversation, interview, medical and psychological assessments, service paperwork, six weeks of basic combat training and further specialist instruction. The brigade says it can train recruits from the ground up or help them gain new qualifications.

The Lubart Foundation is the brigade’s official charitable support platform, coordinating assistance for its needs.
