LubeeBatConservancy

Lubee Bat Conservancy is an AZA-accredited nonprofit conservation zoological facility based in Gainesville, Florida. The organization works to protect bats and their habitats through conservation, education, and community outreach, with a particular focus on engaging children and local communities. Its work combines the care of live bats with conservation projects, educational resources, and public programs that help people understand bats and the threats they face.

Visitors can book guided, private, school, and virtual classroom tours to learn about bats and conservation. Lubee also offers bat house information and services, helping people support local bat populations and the ecosystems they benefit. Throughout the year, the conservancy hosts events, festivals, and community activities, including bat-themed celebrations and educational programs.

People can support Lubee through donations, merchandise, or symbolic bat adoptions, which help fund lifelong care for the animals and advance the organization’s conservation, research, and education efforts. The conservancy also provides internship and volunteer opportunities, inviting the public to take part in its mission. Its services reach across Florida and into Georgia.
