The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, founded by philanthropist and filmmaker George Lucas and his wife, Mellody Hobson, is the first museum in the world to concentrate exclusively on storytelling through visual images. With its vast and diverse collection, including paintings, sculptures, photography, comic art, and filmmaking artifacts, the museum aims to explore the power of narrative art in provoking questions, inspiring opinions, fostering community, and influencing our perception of the world. Led by director and CEO Sandra Jackson-Dumont, the museum is designed by renowned architect Ma Yansong of MAD Architects and is set to open its doors in Los Angeles's Exposition Park in 2025.
