Lucent Lighting Inc. is a lighting distributorship based in Kernersville, North Carolina, serving builders since 2001. Owned and operated by Kevin and Mackenzie Calhoun, the company works with both production and custom builders, drawing on Kevin’s more than 25 years of experience to help meet the differing needs of each project. Lucent creates lighting packages that simplify fixture selection for builders and their customers, with options ranging from nationally agreed programs to broader selections for custom homes.

The company supplies fixtures from brands including Hinkley, Kichler, Satco–Nuvo Lighting, Visual Comfort & Co., Progress Lighting, WAC Lighting, Craftmade, and Monte Carlo Fans. Its services include visiting job sites, reviewing floor plans, advising on lighting choices, preparing bids with quick turnaround, and resolving project issues professionally. Lucent delivers throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and southern Virginia, and can also drop-ship orders anywhere. It does not operate a showroom, a choice that helps keep overhead and customer costs lower. Customers can contact the company in Kernersville by email for questions or project inquiries.
