Lud'haut

Lud’haut is a community association and toy library serving Chambéry-le-Haut and nearby areas. Established in 1992, it is a welcoming place for families to meet, play, laugh and connect, with the aim of promoting play in all its forms. Its 80-square-metre space offers a collection of 1,486 games and toys for people of all ages, and visitors can explore the collection or borrow games.

Lud’haut also brings play beyond its premises through activities and services for local organizations, including schools and leisure centres. Its program includes street activities, participation in community events, and other playful events and experiences. The association is supported by two employees, four volunteers and a team of volunteer parents.

It also offers a Bougeothèque, with registration announced through its website. Lud’haut is located at 572 rue du Pré de l’Âne in Chambéry and welcomes visitors at scheduled times on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Its friendly, accessible approach makes play a shared part of neighbourhood life
