Ludiqueer

Ludiqueer is an inclusive, community-based gaming association serving people who face marginalisation because of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or other forms of discrimination. Its mission is to create a safe and welcoming environment for LGBTI+ people to play, while encouraging others in the gaming community to reflect on inclusion and discrimination. The association also promotes education and action against anti-LGBTI prejudice through playful, educational resources.

Ludiqueer operates local branches in Rennes and Rouen and invites people to establish additional branches in their own cities. Its activities include Queervention, a recurring event with editions dating back to 2019, as well as games and learning materials designed to explore queer topics. These educational games are available in print-and-play formats, including resources such as a queer flag memory game and historical curiosities. Through community activities, events, and accessible game-based tools, Ludiqueer brings people together around play and helps make gaming spaces more inclusive.
