Ludo Fantasy

Ludo Fantasy is a community-run games library in Orsay, France, dedicated to bringing people together through play. Established as a nonprofit association under France’s 1901 law, it has been introducing people to games since 2016, with a nine-person team and a social and educational project. The association aims to encourage social connection, support families, foster interaction between generations, promote social inclusion, and help young people develop independence and responsibility.

Members and visitors can explore a varied catalogue of board games and use seven home and portable video game consoles, including retro gaming options. Ludo Fantasy also offers game-focused activities and themed events throughout the year, such as Halloween gatherings, game nights, and events linked to science and seasonal celebrations. Its team provides activities, guidance for young people, and opportunities to learn through play. Working with partners including the Orsay town council, the FCPE, and other local associations, Ludo Fantasy organizes events in the town while awaiting its own premises.
