LUFT Energía

LUFT Energía is a Buenos Aires-based investment and project development firm founded in 2016. It connects Argentina’s energy and natural resources with international capital, combining local market knowledge with an investor’s perspective. LUFT identifies and assesses opportunities, brings together investors, operators and lenders, engages relevant public and private stakeholders, and structures projects for financing and execution. The firm remains involved after closing and invests alongside partners in the platforms it helps create.

Its work spans oil and gas, mining, and energy, including renewable power. Examples include originating Terra Oil, a platform focused on acquiring and developing producing conventional oil and gas assets in Argentina; structuring a portfolio of more than 800 MW of solar projects for the RenovAr 2 tender; and arranging investment for the 100 MW Mario Cebreiro wind farm in Buenos Aires Province. LUFT’s team brings experience from YPF and international finance, including involvement in the early development of Vaca Muerta and efforts to attract investment to Argentina’s unconventional oil and gas sector.
