About Luketekelo
Luketekelo Foundation | Lusaka is a Christian mission-centered enterprise that aims to empower vulnerable children and women in the North-western and Lusaka provinces of Zambia. Founded in 2016 and registered with Community Development and Pacra in 2021, the foundation focuses on education, child rights, and economic empowerment. They develop community-led programs to provide isolated and exploited children and women with the skills they need to change their futures.
By offering a range of initiatives, such as fashion design and tailoring, agriculture, aquaculture, carpentry, and more, Luketekelo Foundation aims to improve the living conditions of the poor and marginalized. They work closely with self-help groups and promote community initiative, participation, and sensitization. The goal is to increase financial abilities, reduce poverty, and attain improved standards of living for these communities.
