Lume Jardim Waldorf is an early childhood education center in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, offering education based on Waldorf pedagogy. The kindergarten has been active since 1996 and is located in the city’s south-central area, within an environmentally protected region known as Mata do Mosteiro. It welcomes children from 18 months to six years of age and organizes them into small classes.
Inspired by the educational philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, Lume aims to support the development of free and independent people who can find meaning and direction in their lives. Its website also highlights family participation, activities, celebrations, photographs, and recommended content, reflecting a community-oriented approach to early childhood education.
Families can contact the kindergarten to arrange a visit or learn more about its program. Lume is located at Rua Gentios 700, in the Luxemburgo neighborhood of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The center provides contact by telephone and email, as well as a WhatsApp option, and invites prospective families to get in touch.
