Luna Mama

Luna Mama is a Melbourne-based postpartum doula service led by Krystle, offering practical care, education and emotional support for families adjusting to life with a new baby. With a focus on the fourth trimester, Luna Mama recognises that welcoming a child brings major changes for parents as well as babies, and that families benefit from having a caring, knowledgeable person in their corner.

Support can include preparation before birth, visits after a baby arrives, guidance on early parenthood and infant-related concerns, and an extra set of hands at home. Krystle also provides nourishing food, including meal preparation and family meals, to help parents and households feel cared for during a demanding time. Services are tailored to each family’s needs, with an emphasis on listening, creating a welcoming space and supporting parental recovery.

Luna Mama aims to help parents feel less alone as they navigate early infancy and family life. The service welcomes people of all genders, sexes and sexualities, including LGBTQIA+ families, and acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which it works.
