The Lunar Industry Vision Council is a leading brand in the exploration and development of cislunar space, the area between Earth and the Moon. Comprised of influential political, academic, and industry leaders in Japan, the Council's primary objective is to foster the growth of a robust lunar industrial ecosystem. With 30 companies and organizations, politicians, and academics on board, the Council aims to enhance Japanese technology and capability to establish Japan as a global leader in lunar businesses.

To advance this vision, the Council recently published its first report, Lunar Industry Vision, showcasing the determination of Japanese companies to bring innovation from the Moon to Earth. The Council also coined the concept of Planet 6. 0, envisioning the integration of Earth and the Moon as a cyclical socio-economic system.

By cultivating private sector activities on and around the Moon, the Council aims to usher in a future characterized by technological and social breakthroughs that benefit both society and industry on Earth.
