The collection focuses on CORE A* and CCF A conference papers, generally in full text, and excludes workshop, findings, tutorial, short, abstract, and demo papers. Lune also surfaces research best practices for literature reviews, brainstorming, experimental design, evaluation, and academic writing.

Users can access Lune through MCP connectors in AI clients such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other supported tools, or use its command-line interface and web-based cloud agents. The service is free to start, with paid Pro and Pro Max plans offering higher daily request allowances, team sharing, and additional support. Users can also purchase extra usage credits.
