Lung Wellness

The Lung Wellness Clinic provides respiratory care for children and adults living with respiratory diseases. Its approach combines assessment, monitoring, education and ongoing support, working alongside each patient’s healthcare providers to help them understand and manage their condition. The clinic aims to reduce hospital admissions, medical visits and missed days at school or work, supporting patients to lead more active, healthier lives.

Services include respiratory assessments to evaluate how well the lungs and breathing system are functioning, and lung function testing, such as spirometry and peak flow testing, for patients from approximately five years of age. These tests can help monitor lung health and identify airway swelling, damage or spasms. The clinic also helps patients develop self-management plans in agreement with their doctor or asthma nurse, outlining what to do in different situations. Educational activities cover respiratory disease prevention, treatment technologies and wellness.
