Lutheran World Federation (LWF) focuses on supporting refugees and internally displaced people who are unable to return to their homes. They work with returnees, aiding their reintegration into their original environments, as well as with host communities and local governments. LWF also supports communities at risk due to natural disasters or migration-related losses. Additionally, they strive to prevent the effects of poverty and injustice by building long-term resilience in these communities.

The work of World Service is guided by LWF’s vision of a just, peaceful, and reconciled world, liberated by God’s grace. They are committed to handling finances with integrity, accountability, and transparency, holding a Zewo certification since 2019. World Service is dedicated to challenging and addressing the causes and effects of human suffering and poverty, linking local responses to national and international advocacy. Their mission is inspired by God’s love for humanity. LWF is committed to embodying and achieving their values as they work with and through communities and like-minded partners.
