Luv Us

Luv Us Mutts is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue based in Mission, Texas, focused on saving the lives of abandoned, abused, sick, and injured animals throughout the Rio Grande Valley. With a heartfelt mission to reduce the population of homeless and mistreated animals, Luv Us Mutts works tirelessly to rescue those in peril from both the streets and high-kill shelters, aiming to find them safe and loving forever homes.

Founded by passionate animal rescuer Ashli Garza in 2019, the organization grew from grassroots efforts that began years prior, motivated by the need for community support, exemplified by the rescue of a dog named Grace who suffered severe injuries. Luv Us Mutts provides a compassionate network that connects these vulnerable creatures with vetted transport groups and community families. The organization also engages in events, donations, and outreach to spread awareness about animal welfare and advocate for the voiceless. Join Luv Us Mutts in their mission to promote compassion and responsible pet ownership in the region.
