LUXBD, the Sequential Art Society of Luxembourg, is an association that supports and connects creators working in comics and other forms of visual storytelling. Based in the Grand Duchy, it promotes graphic novels, manga, album culture, and graphic storytelling as part of contemporary European culture. Its work brings together artists, writers, researchers, collectors, and other participants through a professional network focused on knowledge-sharing, interdisciplinary exchange, and sustainable cultural development.

LUXBD’s offerings include a magazine featuring news, interviews, reviews, analysis, profiles, and scholarly writing, alongside an online compendium with creator archives, technical resources, and industry information. Its community platform provides a forum, artists’ blog, gallery, and marketplace, supporting discussion and the sharing of creative work. The association also publishes documentation and guidance, reports on current issues, and promotes events and collaborative projects. Through its archive initiatives, LUXBD helps preserve sequential art materials for research and cultural documentation. Membership offers access to specialized publications, curated projects, and opportunities to contribute editorially and connect with Luxembourg’s comic scene.
