LV-22

DKB Landesverband 22, known as the South-East Bavarian Regional Association (LV-22), is a network for bird-breeding, bird-enthusiast and bird-protection clubs. Founded in 1984, it currently brings together 20 affiliated clubs and 248 members of the German Canaries and Bird Breeders Association (DKB). The website also notes that 12 individual members are grouped within Club 99. The association’s activities focus on keeping, caring for and breeding ornamental birds, while encouraging members to exchange knowledge and support one another.

LV-22 organizes regional gatherings, including autumn meetings and specialist-group sessions, as well as an annual general meeting held in conjunction with the host club for its championship. Its event calendar and announcements provide information about meetings and competitions, including the regional championship. The website serves members and interested visitors with association news, club and activity details, schedules, reports, forms and regulations, competition results, useful links and contact information. Based in South-East Bavaria, the association extends its reach beyond Lower Bavaria and welcomes bird enthusiasts who wish to connect with its member community.
